In this role you will support at group level, acting as the initial point of contact for all HR queries, providing comprehensive advice and guidance across the UK. Some of your key accountabilities will include:

  • Providing advice, support, and guidance to employees and managers on HR and employee relations issues in line with company policies and procedures
  • Completing all administration for the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to off boarding and everything in between
  • Ensuring all staff changes are monitored, maintaining accurate employee files and communicating any changes with payroll as required
  • Providing operational support, maintaining HR Systems, reviewing and updating policies and escalating issues when necessary
  • Arranging and attending confidential meetings, taking notes and updating employee files where necessary ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Supporting with the coordination of performance management and succession planning ensuring a streamlined process which will motivate and retain the workforce
  • Responsibility for maintaining the companies procedures and policies, amending and updating when needed
  • Supporting the Regional HRBP with the development and implementation of employee recruitment, development, reward and retention programmes

 

To succeed in the role you will:

  • Have a minimum 5 years of HR experience, some of which gained in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Have sound knowledge of what great HR looks like
  • Be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships at senior level
  • Be ambitious and driven, willing to get your sleeves rolled up when needed
