Reporting to a HR Manager, you’ll work closely with the business and the wider HR team to provide an exceptional HR service. As a confident and assertive HR Advisor, you’ll act as the first point of contact for all people related matters and you’ll be required to develop strong relationships with your internal stakeholders.
In this key role you’ll be given the autonomy to work with both technical and operational staff on the Stena Line vessels in a highly customer focused environment and also remotely. You’ll be key to enabling and equipping managers to meet compliance requirements and to adhere to HR policies.
As a HR Advisor within this busy team, you’ll support a wider range of employee relations cases and therefore a working knowledge of employment legislation is essential as is the ability to apply policy and mitigate risk. As a trusted partner to the business, you’ll need to be highly organised, have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
This is fast paced environment where you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of project work and support change initiatives so you’ll need to have experience of organising and planning your workload effectively.
Working within a manufacturing, engineering or transport organisation would be a distinct advantage.
