Our Aberdeen based client is looking to hire a Supply Chain Assistant to start immediately on a 6 month FTC (with potential for extension).

This role will support the Supply Chain Manager and Sales Team with all administrative functions relating to the manufacture and procurement aspects of the business. The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Creating purchase and sales orders ensuring all internal and intercompany SOPs are adhered to
  • Support with pricing and lead time requests for new and ongoing business/products
  • Coordinate OTIF supply of raw materials to toll blender facilities
  • Coordinate OTIF manufacture with toll blenders to meet customer needs
  • Arrange domestic and international logistics with our approved carriers
  • Generate shipping paperwork to support movement of goods; commercial invoice, pack list, Certificate of Origin etc
  • Coordinate sample requests and deliveries
  • Support Supply Chain Manager with aspects of vendor and quality management and any other supply chain requirements identified

The Supply Chain assistant must have proven knowledge and experience in all aspects of domestic and international manufacture and supply, as well as experience of coordinating manufacture with toll blenders.

A working knowledge of EMEA and other international supply regulations and experience/valid certification as DG consignor for ADR, IMDG and IATA is also essential.

Experience of SAP and CIPS (or working towards) qualification is preferred.
