Hunter Adams is working with an award-winning charity to support them in the recruitment of a Senior HRBP to join their team.

This role is to support the Head of Human Resources & Organisational Development in the implementation and application of the organisations HR policies and procedures, providing advice and guidance to line management as appropriate.

The Senior HRBP will undertake a variety of HR project/specialist activities in support of the delivery of the HR strategy and business plan.

Role Responsibilities  

  • Provide high quality advice and guidance to management on the interpretation and application of HR policy and procedure, particularly in relation to non-routine matters
  • Assist in the development and delivery of HR-related L&D programmes in support of the organisations management’s skills and knowledge of HR management and best practice
  • Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives, systems and programs to help improve the employee experience
  • Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
  • Recruiting staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management

We’re looking for:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrates integrity, adaptability and the ability to collaborate well with others
  • Generalist experience in all areas of Human Resource Management
  • Knowledge and experience of managing the full employee lifecycle.
  • Relevant CIPD recognised qualification or equivalent experience.
