We are proud to be working with The University of Edinburgh to help them find an experienced Senior HR Partner to lead their Employee Relations and Employment Policy team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring their employment policies within the University as an employer of choice and in enhancing partnership working with its recognised trade unions.
This role is pivotal in planning, consulting on and implementing new and refreshed employment policies. It will manage and develop a team of ‘go-to’ experts on policy interpretation and application for the HR community. It plays a key role in consulting the joint unions on employment policies and in facilitating engagement on wider University policies. The successful candidate will need to be pro-actively aware of changes in legislation and in sector practice and how these may impact the University and its policies, practices and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working at a senior HR level in a complex organisation & a proven track record of engaging, consulting and negotiating with trade unions.
