Hunter Adams is delighted to be supporting our client Kettle Produce with sourcing a People Operations Manager to join their team. As a key member of the Management Team you will ensure the delivery of the operational HR service to all areas of the business.  Working closely with the with the Head of People you will focus on the delivery of business critical objectives and projects.

In this role you will:

  • Focus on the continual development of the organisations information systems TMS and Workforce and support the Head of HR to deliver agreed outcomes
  • Monitor, evaluate and proactively highlight the effectiveness of people management and HR practices/processes in order for the business to initiate, plan and manage change
  • Provide direction, advice and support to management on all HR related issues, including but not limited to disciplinary, grievance, performance management, Attendance Management, manpower planning, employee/management development and succession planning
  • Ensure that positive relationships are fostered with the Trades Union representatives to facilitate and improve employee relations across the business
  • Focus on the delivery of KPi’s, taking action when required to ensure that agreed standards are met continually
  • Identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; review with appropriate management staff and implement improvements
  • Ensure Company compliance with current legislation and review proposed legislation and related regulations
  • Ensure that appropriate and effective channels of internal communications are created and implemented
  • Review and update existing recruitment systems, ensuring establishment figures are maintained
  • Review and implement processes which ensure the accurate data collection and utilisation of both the Company’s HRIS and Time and Attendance systems
