Hunter Adams as part of our sourcing service are supporting our client, The National Trust for Scotland with appointing a People Enquiries & Advice Consultant to join their team

We are delighted to be supporting the National Trust with sourcing a People Enquiries & Advice Consultant to be responsible for providing an extensive HR service to all levels of staff within this reputable Edinburgh based organisation. In this key role you will deliver valuable support and advice within the organisation on all HR processes from their helpdesk

Some of your key accountabilities will include:

  • Supporting and advising senior staff members on individual casework including absence management, grievance and disciplinary issues ensuring all cases are managed professionally and in line with current legislation
  • Supporting the development, delivery, and promotion of self-service products for managers/individuals to self-serve to address most day-to-day enquiries
  • Supporting the delivery and development of a service desk for people management enquiries which cannot/have not been addressed through self-service products and distributes enquiries to the relevant sections/individuals within the wider People Department

 

To be considered for this role you will have a proven HR track record with thorough knowledge of UK employment law and the ability to deal with both routine and complex staff issues. Experience of using HRIS systems would be preferable. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual to become an integral part of the HR department in this leading organisation.
