Hunter Adams is delighted to be working with the world renowned The R&A, who are seeking an experienced L&D business partner to join their HR team. 

This is a full-time permanent role, based in St Andrews offering a hybrid working pattern and competitive salary. A rare opportunity for an experienced L&D Business consultant to join an established team involved in the worldwide governance of golf and organisation of international Major championships, for both professional and amateur sportspeople, at all levels. 

Key activities will include: 

  • Working as part of the HR Team the role will include  
  • creating and executing learning strategies, plans and solutions.   
  • Evaluating individual and organisational development needs.  
  • Designing and delivering e-learning courses, workshops and other interventions.  Assessing the success of development plans and  
  • helping employees make the most of learning opportunities as well as  
  • measuring the return on investment for the business. 

We’re looking for:  

  • Demonstrable experience as an L&D Business Partner, Manager or Training Manager.  
  • Experience in developing and executing L&D programmes 
  • Development of a professional L&D brand internally and externally.  
  • Up to date knowledge of effective learning and development methods and technologies.  
  • Positively challenging legacy approach and stimulating change through stakeholder engagement.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills .  
  • Strategic thinker with an ambitious approach and commitment to quality.  
  • Naturally positive with a ‘can do’ attitude.  
  • Be an excellent team player with leadership abilities.
