Hunter Adams is delighted to be working with a leading global specialist engineering organisation looking for an HR Business Partner to join their team, offering a hybrid working pattern and competitive salary, based in Aberdeen or Dunfermline.

This is a full time, fixed term contract for 12 months offering the opportunity to work for a highly specialised and renowned international engineering company who pride themselves in focusing on quality. An excellent chance to develop and build on experience and skills. 

Here are some of the key activities you’ll be working on:  

  • Leading the local talent management process within your UK scope 
  • Developing strategies and tactics to further development and retention 
  • Carrying out local implementation of global initiatives  
  • Partnering with hiring managers to develop staffing/recruiting strategies.   
  • Working with hiring managers on critical & difficult to fill vacancies. 
  • Partnering with hiring managers, P&C Colleagues across other regions and Global Mobility.  
  • Supporting on complex employee relation case management.  
  • Providing counselling and conflict resolution.  
  • Facilitating change management initiatives and partnering with the leadership team.     
  •  Partnering with managers to review and implement compensation and reward program 

We’re looking for:  

  • Proven track record within a multinational organization  
  • Preferably, experience within an engineering, technical or offshore services company within the Oil & Gas industry  
  • Experience in handling of complex employee relations cases  
  • Strong interpersonal skills  
  • Excellent organization and time management skills 
  • Strong attention to detail & high level of data accuracy  
  • Pro-active & result oriented  
  • Desire to make a difference and contribute to ongoing success 
  • General working knowledge of HR and UK employment law
