Are you a strong generalist HR Advisor who is available immediately?

Hunter Adams as part of our recruitment service are supporting a dynamic multinational organisation in the construction industry with appointing an HR Advisor to provide HR support across the business.

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to support in a generalist capacity and be the first point of contact for all HR processes. In this busy role you will support the HR Manager to respond to all HR queries from employees and provide administrative support to the branch office with payroll.

  • Managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle including generating contracts, new starter checks, induction and probationary review
  • Maintaining HR trackers and spreadsheets producing MI reports when needed
  • Recording all leave ensuring it is booked in line with company policy
  • Providing professional support to managers on casework attending meetings and handing appeals
  • Assisting with HR projects including the annual salary process, benchmarking and the HR database
  • Supporting the HR Manager with the development of talent and succession planning identifying a talent pipeline
  • Supporting head office to collect monthly payroll data ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
  • Developing training, personal development and career plans with the HR Manager, advising on training solutions and delivering sessions
  • Supporting the Senior Recruiter with resourcing, drawing up job descriptions and scheduling interviews

 

To be considered for this role you will be a CIPD qualified HR professional with experience working in a similar environment. Naturally you will have excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of UK employment law. Construction industry experience would be beneficial.
