Aberdeen Performing Arts is looking for a Head of Finance and Sustainability to join them as they re-open our venues re-engage with communities, bringing the spark back to the creative arts in and around Aberdeen.
- Are you a finance expert – known for bringing data to life for people at all levels from Boards and stakeholders to colleagues across an organisation?
- Are you inspired by the arts and ready to play a leading role as APA reopens and rebuilds their venues?
- Would you like to join the cast of their multi-talented leadership team in a role that incorporates sustainability?
Aberdeen Performing Arts is a multi-million turnover award-winning arts charity with a commercial arm. As they re-open our venues re-engage with our communities and bring the spark back to the creative arts in and around Aberdeen, they are looking for a Head of Finance and Sustainability to join them on this exciting journey, and help achieve their vision of inspiring, exploring, and engaging through live performance and creative projects.
You will be leading a strong, loyal and dedicated finance team who will continue to do the great work they have done pre and post COVID in keeping all areas of our finance running.
You will help to bring in new, data focused, reporting processes to allow our venues to run smoothly, the commercial arm to increase income generation and profit, and for our creative and community engagement work to grow and diversify.
They also need you to be their sustainability champion and to grow the legacy from our 2019 VIBES Engaging Scotland award. It will be your role to work with our team to define environmental strategy and engage all stakeholders to achieve and report on these plans.
This is a role where you will be able to use your strong finance leadership skills and couple them with your passion for the arts.
As part of their commitment to improving diversity and representation in our organisation and in our industry, they positively encourage applications from individuals from diverse or under-represented backgrounds.
