This is a hands-on position, requiring a proactive and reliable business partner to provide advice and actively lead all aspects of employee engagement, performance management and capability, career planning and development, staff wellbeing and support HR policy development.

This is a hands-on position, requiring a proactive and reliable business partner to provide advice and actively lead all aspects of employee engagement, performance management and capability, career planning and development, staff wellbeing and support HR policy development.

In this role, you will:

  • Operate as a Business Partner for the Partner group, to understand their strategic needs in relation to their people
  • Lead strategic employee engagement and wellbeing programmes that effectively balance the needs of the individual and the firm
  • Manage and communicate employee engagement metrics and analysis, producing recommendations to retain talent
  • Oversee the career development options and programme within the firm, in liaison with the Talent Development Coordinator
  • Proactively manage staff wellbeing initiatives and contribute to the case allocation process for consulting staff, intervene to ensure individual employee workload is manageable
  • Facilitate and oversee the performance review process, support developing an effective and ‘best practice’ performance review process
  • Design solutions and programmes for underperforming staff and high potential talent
  • Development, implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies and processes, working in close collaboration with the HR operations team across Europe to ensure appropriate HR processes and systems are aligned
  • Support any employee relations issues across the consulting pool and in core services – including early identification and resolution of potential issues and management of processes
  • Lead HR change initiatives, supporting the European CPO in key organisational development initiatives

 

What we are looking for:

  • A graduate with a degree in a relevant discipline
  • A generalist HR background with a recent focus on employee engagement and talent development
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner preferably in a professional and / or financial services firm environment
  • Demonstrable experience of strategy development and implementation in conjunction with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrate proactivity and initiative with the ability to navigate ambiguity; able to drive results and achieve problem resolution within deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to influence, interact and consult with senior leaders, strong collaboration skills and effective stakeholder management
