The key focus of the Operations team is to develop, support and maintain the environment, system and processes that allow Rettie & Co. to achieve its vision of delivering exceptional customer service.
As a standalone HR Advisor you will be responsible for supporting the Chief Operating Officer in the development and implementation of the People Strategy and will be accountable for the planning and delivery of all HR processes and administration. You will be required to develop collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and manage external supplier relationships. You will have the opportunity to influence and be part of a variety of strategic people focused projects that support Rettie & Co.’s growth strategy.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be offering full HR generalist support to actively implement the People Strategy. Along with supporting key strategic people projects you’ll also pay fine attention to detail to all manner of HR Admin tasks completing them within a timely manner. It’s important as well that you’ll be a true ambassador to promote Rettie & Co.’s culture and ensure it is reflected in all people related projects/activities. Key to your role will be to support the collection, analysis and reporting of relevant people metrics and data to guide decision-making related to remuneration, organisational structure, attrition, promotions, leadership, employee development and other activities. You’ll also play an active role in employee on-boarding and off boarding and supporting managers in these processes. This will also include the development, delivery and evaluation of training and development strategies across the business.
In this great generalist role, you’ll be supporting the business during the implementation of organisational change. It’s essential that you’ll provide guidance on all aspects of employee relations and employment legislation. You’ll also have the great opportunity to ensure that employees are reaching their full potential supporting the development and coaching of managers in their people leadership and management skills as well as supporting their talent management and succession planning processes to identify and support key talent across their business.
