Changes at the Top for Hunter Adams

As we approach our 10th birthday, Hunter Adams is delighted to announce some exciting changes at the top.

From 1st April, Jennifer Marnoch, currently COO, will be appointed as Managing Director of the business. Jenn has been with the business for nearly 8 years and has brought together one UK team from three regional offices, to deliver services for our 750 clients across 30 sectors. An experienced HR director, Jenn has worked over several sectors during her career, including banking, professional services and technology.

Sarah Beaumont, currently Head of HR, will lead the HR service and manage key clients, promoted to Director of HR on the same date.

Founder Dean Hunter, who set the business up nearly 10 years ago, will become Chair of the business on a part-time basis. This change is likely to take effect in Q3 2021 following a transition from his current role of leading the growth in our South Region.

Dean explained:

“I am in the very fortunate position to have a team of dynamic, progressive leaders who are more than ready to take over the reins. As leaders we must recognise when it is time to step aside and to enable and encourage others to realise their potential.”

He added:

“I am extremely passionate about developing and progressing talent, so I never want to be the ‘glass ceiling’ that inadvertently prevents this development. In my role of Chair I will be supporting the team strategically to continue to grow the business. The London business alone grew its EBITDA by well over 100% in 2020, so there is plenty more to this story.”

Jenn stated:

I would like to say thank you to Dean for the opportunity and for having the trust and faith in me to take the business forward.  It’s a really exciting opportunity and I am looking forward to leading the business and having Dean’s continued drive and support as our Chairman.

Dean has built a phenomenal business and I am fully committed to continuing to make Hunter Adams a great place to work and I know that I speak on behalf of the team when I say we will look after it for you and continue to make it prosper.

Hunter Adams was founded in 2011 from Dean’s spare bedroom, and has grown to be a leading HR consultancy business in the UK with some major branded clients. It is also the HR department for over 350 SMEs and charities in the UK.
