Our client is a leading organisation with a distinguished property set within the stunning countryside of the heart of Scotland. As part of a leading independent group of hotels, our client has exciting and ambitious plans both at group and local level and they are seeking a high calibre HR professional to join them during a period of transition within the HR team.
Due to a significant change within their HR team, our client is seeking to appoint a highly capable, caring and commercial individual to work hand in hand with their General Manager to continue to deliver their key priorities within their HR agenda.
About the role
As Director of People and Culture you’ll have accountability for leading a professional and large HR team onsite focused on everything from Payroll to People Strategy. In this key role you’ll be a figurehead for the organisation to help set and maintain the excellent people standards required to achieve excellence and exceed expectations across the organisation. Working closely with the operation, this is no ordinary HR Director role where two days are never the same.
Working with the Executive team you’ll be key to setting the strategic direction across the HR landscape including talent acquisition, employee journey, employee relations, reward and future talent.
Naturally, within this senior HR Leadership role, you’ll need to be a highly experienced and strategically focused professional to lead in this role. This is a unique organisation where there is continual change therefore extensive experience of managing change, providing fresh ideas and continually innovating is essential.,
As this is a fast paced and service focused organisation, it would be a distinct advantage if you have experience gained working within a large and complex organisation.
To be considered for this key post, you’ll need to demonstrate the following:
• Extensive experience of leading a HR team within a large and complex setting
• Considerable experience of working with the Senior Leadership team with the credibility and gravitas to gain buy in
• Substantial project management experience would be advantageous as would the ability to build strong and lasting working relationships
• It would be a distinct advantage if you experience of working for a luxury brand or you have worked within a client focused environment
